THE PROCESS

This meeting will be to get to know you and understand your ideas and preferences for the event. It is also a great opportunity for clients to understand how we work and ensure this is in line with their expectations.

PROPOSAL OF SUPPLIERS

As a consequence of our initial meeting, at this stage we will hopefully have a great idea of what sort of event you desire. This proposal will include an array of suggestions with regards to venues, suppliers, styling and design.

 We will recommend a number of trusted suppliers for every element, from entertainment to catering, styling, and venues/sites for the tents.

SECOND CONSULTATION

SECOND CONSULTATION

When clients have reviewed the document and suppliers, we will then conduct our second consultation. This can be done via phone or in a meeting and typically runs for an hour. In this meeting we will attempt to distinguish the suppliers the clients are completely happy with, any suppliers the couple would like to visit (either with us or on their own) and together, begin to allocate the budget across all areas of the event.

BUDGET PLANNER

One of the most crucial elements to my role is managing client’s budgets whilst ensuring my clients have the event of their dreams. At this stage in the process, we will send through a proposal for how the budget might be split between suppliers. Once this has been reviewed by clients, we will discuss the proposal via phone/email and this can be adjusted in line with client’s preferences.

We will communicate with all suppliers we have decided on, sticking to the allocated budgets and communicating all information back to my clients efficiently to reach an agreement between the two. Having strong relationships with my preferred suppliers is always a huge bonus as this stage!

INITIAL CONSULTATION

Once suppliers have been decided and budgets met, we will produce a final proposal. We tend to prefer to have a face to face meetings with customers at this stage. In this meeting we will present the final proposal to our clients & and additional people they would like to bring along. We will run through the whole document, discussing and ensuring the clients are completely happy with what they have selected.

TIMELINE,CHECKLIST & FINAL AMMENDMENTS

Depending on the progress during the last meeting, we will tweak suppliers and the final proposal. This process is not time restricted and I will work with you on this proposal and with your budget until you are completely happy. 

 We will also produce a timeline including payment deadlines to suppliers and a checklist for the lead up to the wedding.

It is then my job to get to work with suppliers & admin! We will be ensuring all suppliers are working alongside the timeline, to their deadlines and communicate with them regularly in the lead up to the wedding.

We now have an idea of confirmed guests and can now start to think about table formats inside the tepee. We will have produced a list of all guests at this point and can help advise throughout this part of the planning.

We also will be liaising with all suppliers at this stage to ensure they are fully aware of kit lists, timings, guest numbers etc.

The event is now only two weeks away but rest assured…you will feel completely in control of the situation!

At this stage, we will be sending a final itinerary to the venue, suppliers and all of the wedding party. This will detail supplier arrival times in the lead up to the day, a full agenda for the day and site staff activities if you have requested this service.

FINAL CONSULTATION

Congratulations! We already can’t wait to hear how you found the day and whole process of planning your wedding with us! At your convenience, we will pick up our final consultation whereby we will discuss and reminisce your special day. Any feedback positive or negative will be taken on board professionally and is much appreciated – We are by no means the finished article and am always looking for ideas to improve my service!

 

We will also be chasing up photographers/videographers for you and ensuring any deposits are returned that you are due back.

 

Our services will only be finished once all your suppliers have fulfilled their obligations and you are completely satisfied with what you have received from them.
